Mechanical seal mainly consists of moving ring, static ring, cooling device, pressing spring, sealing ring, fasteners, etc.
　　1、End face seal pair of mechanical seal (static ring, moving ring)
　　End surface sealing auxiliary makes the sealing surface tightly fit to prevent medium leakage. It requires the static ring and dynamic ring to have good wear resistance, the moving ring can move flexibly, automatically compensate for the sealing surface wear, make it fit well with the static ring; the static ring has floating, buffer role. For this sealing surface requires good processing quality to ensure that the sealing auxiliary has good fitting performance.
　　2、Elastic element of the mechanical seal (spring, bellows, diaphragm)
　　The elastic elements mainly play the role of pre-tightening, compensation and buffer, it is required to always maintain enough elasticity to overcome the inertia of friction and moving ring of auxiliary seal and transmission parts, ensure the good end sealing and the following of moving ring, and the material requires corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance.
　　3、Auxiliary seals for mechanical seals (O-ring, V-ring, U-ring, wedge ring and alien ring)
　　The auxiliary seal mainly plays the sealing role of static ring and moving ring, but also plays the floating and buffering role. The sealing element of the static ring can ensure the sealing between the static ring and the press cover and the static ring, and the sealing element of the moving ring can ensure the sealing between the moving ring and the shaft or the shaft and the floating of the moving ring. The material should be heat and cold resistant and compatible with the medium.
　　4、Transmission parts of mechanical seals (drive pin, ring, hub, key, ear, or tooth connector)
　　The transmission part is to transmit the torque of the shaft to the moving ring. The materials shall be wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant.
　　5、Fasteners of mechanical seals (tightening screws, spring seats, pressure covers, assembly sleeve, shaft sleeve)
　　Fasteners are the positioning and fastening of the static and moving rings. The ial positioning is correct, ensure a certain spring compression, so that the sealing surface of the sealing pair in the correct position and maintain a good fit. At the same time, it is easy to assemble, easy to place and can be reused. In the fit with the auxiliary seal, the sealing ring should have a guide chamfer and pressure, and special attention should be paid to the requirements of the auxiliary seal of the moving ring and the shaft sleeve, if necessary, hard surface overlay can be used in the fit with the shaft sleeve.
　　6、Anti-rotation of mechanical seals (anti-rotation)
　　The rotation is to prevent the static ring from turning and stripping. Enough length is required to prevent the static ring from escaping under negative pressure, and to prevent the static ring from rotating with the moving ring. The material requires corrosion resistance, and if necessary, a tetrafluoroethylene cover can be added in the middle to avoid damage to the carbon and graphite static ring.
